Garbage/Recycle Center:   Attendant is on duty Saturdays 8:00 a.m.-noon,  and on all Tuesdays from 4-6pm.  

An official Town of Greenfield bag is required at a cost of $1.00 per bag.  They may be purchased from the Attendant, Jerry McGinnis.

There will be a Fall FREE DUMP DAY tentatively Sat., October 3, 2026,  the first Saturday in October , 8 am to 2 pm.  NO GREENFIELD BAGS NEEDED FOR FREE DUMP DAY. 

Note:  Personal Checks will not be accepted at the Recycle Center.

Town of Greenfield Recycle Center Notice:

Pricing for disposing of MATTRESSES and BOX SPRINGS is as follows if you haul to either place:

GFL Environmental (Formerly MDS): 800 Townline Road, Tomah. Accepts mattresses for a cost of $30 each and box springs at a cost of $10 each.

Monroe County Landfill: 20448 Junco Road (south of Tomah). Accepts mattresses AND box springs for $20 each.

GFL will take TV's for the following prices:  $25 flat  screen and $35 for tube TV's - 7am-3pm M-F.

Ag plastic will no longer be taken directly to the landfill. If residents inquire, please direct them to Modern Disposal either in Tomah or Sparta.
